Julia Dunbar

I am a dedicated, hard-working individual, who puts my all into everything that I do. I work well in both group and individual settings and enjoy team camaraderie. Anything that includes problem solving and hard work is a good challenge for me and I look forward to dedicating the time and effort to getting the project done. I actively seek opportunities to continue growing my skill sets and desire an environment that motivates and pushes people to want to do their best work. MY LATEST RESEARCH

This summer I am doing research through the NSF in the ProHealth lab at Indian University-Bloomington. The purpose of our research is to examine issues with current recruitment and data collection methods that are seen throughout face-to-face and online studies that evaluate support exchange among individuals living with HIV.

Another research initiative I am a part of is through the ProHealth lab at IUB and the Fetlab at RIT and it deals with the e-NABLE Community. This community is comprised of individuals from all over who use their own/institutions 3D printers to create free 3D upper limb assistive devices to distribute to those in need. We are looking to analyze the process of a recipient receiving an arm and how effective these arms truly are.
